Jonathan Joosten is an artistic researcher and multimedia artist based in Berlin.
Jonathan joosten
In his work he investigates the notions of urban transformation, narrations and memories. Through artistic research he creates new narratives, negotiates unlikely relations and constantly oscillates between small pieces and larger contexts. His works include video, print, installation, performance, photography and sound art.

Solo show at Haus der Statistik (Berlin) as artist in residence of Co-Making Matters. Examination of metamorphoses (Verwandlungen) using plant prints, collected objects and glitchy 3D images of the construction side at Haus der Statistik.

Kunstverein Wagenhalle is a center of contemporary art production in Stuttgart (Germany). As part of the internship, Joosten worked with international artists on the construction of the experimental architecture « Containercity » that consists of studios and exhibition spaces.

Kollektiv Raumstation
« We don’t want to wait for the city to change on its own, we want to do it ourselves ». The Kollektiv Raumstation is dedicated to political actions and artistic interventions in public space. Founded in Weimar (Grmany), it has been active in Berlin, Weimar, Vienna and Zurich any many other places.
